Yann M'Vila will arrive at Sunderland tomorrow to undergo a medical with the Premier League side.

The Frenchman is available after being released from his contract by Dynamo Moscow and is now set to join Dick Advocaat's Black Cats.




M'Vila has long been linked with a move to the Premier League, Liverpool consistently mooted as suitors for the midfielder, but he will end up at Sunderland.

According to French sports daily L'Equipe, M'Vila will arrive in Sunderland tomorrow to pass his medical and then put pen to paper on a one-year contract.
 

 

The France international, who was at one stage rated as one of the most promising midfielders in European football, will aim to kick-start his career in England.

The 25-year-old raised eyebrows by choosing to leave French side Rennes for Russian Premier League outfit Rubin Kazan in 2013.

He moved on loan to Italian giants Inter a year later, before then returning to Russia with Dynamo Moscow.

M'Vila has won 22 caps for France since making his Les Bleus debut in 2010.
