Leeds United head coach Uwe Rosler has underlined the targets set for him this season by the club's owner and chairman Massimo Cellino.

Rosler took the tough assignment of succeeding Neil Redfearn as Leeds' head coach earlier this summer, in the process becoming the fifth boss to work under Cellino in a period of just over a year.

Leeds' players have revealed this summer that Rosler is seeking to drill a top-six mentality into the club, but when questioned whether that betrays his aim for the season, the German was keeping his cards close to his chest.

Indeed, Rosler insists that Cellino has merely demanded improvement across the board from last season, while also stressing that to have a longer term vision it is important to be winning games in the present.

He told a press conference: "The chairman told me he wants to see improvement. Improvement collectively from the team and also improvement in individuals from last year.
