Barcelona winger Adama Traore has been granted permission by the Blaugrana to skip training in order to travel to England to speak to interested parties.

It had been claimed that the 18-year-old, who has a buy-out clause set at €15m in his contract, was on the way to Liverpool for a medical ahead of a move.

Those suggestions have been played down, but the player known as Adama is on his way to England to visit three clubs who have shown interest in signing him.

According to Spanish daily El Mundo Deportivo, the winger is set to look around the facilities at Liverpool, Aston Villa and Stoke City.

Once Adama decides which club he would like to join, Barcelona will officially open talks with his preferred destination.

The winger, who turns out for Barcelona B, but could not prevent the club from being relegated from the Spanish second tier last season, asked his club for permission to skip training.

Technical secretary Pep Segura and coach Gerard Lopez agreed to his request and Adama will spend the next two days in England, talking with interested clubs.

Barcelona are keen for the winger to play at a higher level than that which can now be offered by Barcelona B, but it remains to be seen whether Liverpool, Stoke or Aston Villa have a loan deal in mind or a permanent arrangement as their preferred signing option.

There could also still be a twist in the tail as Adama has also been linked with Manchester City, Manchester United and Everton this summer.
