Bayern Munich and Chelsea linked Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann has ruled out an exit from the Vicente Calderon for the foreseeable future, saying he wants to become an even better player at the club.

Griezmann signed for Los Rojiblancos last summer and enjoyed a stellar inaugural season under Diego Simeone, going on to net 22 league goals from his 37 appearances.

His prolific goal return and overall performances have seen Chelsea and Bayern Munich linked with a move for the Frenchman, but he intends to stay put in the Spanish capital for the foreseeable future.

When asked about his take on the reported interest from European sides for his signature, Griezmann replied: “Nothing’s been said to me about that and as I say, all I want to do is help my team.”

He further added that he remains focused on Atletico Madrid and wants to improve his game further at the club.
