Juventus have continued their pursuit of Schalke winger and Arsenal target Julian Draxler, according to Sky Italia.

The Old Lady sent a scout to monitor the Germany international in person during Schalke’s friendly encounter against FC Twente played yesterday.

The reigning Italian champions have been linked all summer with the German as they attempt to bring him to the Juventus Stadium ahead of the 2015/16 season.

However, Schalke have remained firm in their stance of not selling their prized possession at any sum under their valuation of the player.

The German outfit as well as the Draxler’s agent have denied there being any sort of agreement between the player and the Bianconeri, but Juventus remain keen on the youngster playing as a trequartista for Massimiliano Allegri’s side next season.
