Brentford winger Stuart Dallas is set to undergo a medical with Leeds United later today ahead of a switch to the club.

The Northern Irishman has refused to extend his contract with Brentford, leading the Championship outfit being keen not to lose him on a free transfer when it expires next summer.

Dallas is a player who is well known to Leeds head coach Uwe Rosler, who counts Brentford amongst his former clubs.

According to BBC Radio Leeds, Dallas is set to now undergo a medical check with the Whites later today ahead of officially sealing a move to Elland Road.

Rosler has been keen to add a winger to his ranks, feeling his side lack width, and Dallas fits the bill for the German tactician.

The Leeds boss will also be hopeful of having Dallas at his disposal for next weekend's Championship opener against Burnley at Elland Road.

Rosler confirmed after Saturday's 2-0 friendly win over Everton that his next signing will likely be his last on the permanent transfer front.

However the German, who stressed a squad of 18 is not large enough, is ready to tap into the loan market.
