Manchester United striker James Wilson is looking forward to the club’s new era with Adidas, which started with the official kit launch at the start of August.

The youngster has expressed his enthusiasm about the new kit, as he feels kits should be comfortable for the players.

Speaking to MUTV, Wilson said about the new kit: “I love it.

“It not only looks nice, it feels nice.

“You’ve got to be comfortable in what you’re playing in.”

The 19-year-old has talked up the freshness at the club, and believes his team-mates will also love the new kit.

“It’s a difference within the club and there’s a freshness when you get a new kit.

“You feel different in a new kit and it’s whether you like it or not – I know I, and everyone else, will love it”, Wilson added.

Manchester United ended their 13-year association with Nike at the end of last month, and will sport Adidas made kits for the first time in 24 years.

The Red Devils last wore Adidas made kits in 1992, before the advent of the Premier League. They have won 13 league titles and two Champions Leagues since.

Wilson, who played 17 times for the Old Trafford outfit last season, will hope to cement his place in the first team in 2015/16.
