Bayern Munich have been boosted by the return of Dante to training ahead of the start of the new Bundesliga season.

The Brazilian centre-back picked up a muscle injury over his summer break, but was able to complete 45 minutes of full training at Bayern Munich's training base yesterday.

He then split from the group and conducted a one-on-one session with fitness coach Andreas Kornmayer.

It remains to be seen whether the Brazilian will be declared fit for the start of the new Bundesliga season, but his return is a boost for the Bavarians.

Indeed, Bayern Munich still have Franck Ribery, Javi Martinez, Holger Badstuber and Jan Kirchoff out of action through injury.
