Dutch side NEC Nijmegen are snapping up English right-back Todd Kane from Chelsea on a season-long loan deal.

NEC have been looking to add another full-back to their ranks and in the 21-year-old they have got their man, with Kane arriving from Stamford Bridge.

According to Dutch magazine Voetbal International, Kane will link up with the Eredivisie side on a season-long loan deal, which will allow him to continue his development with regular first team football.

The young defender has been shipped out of Chelsea on a series of loan spells in recent seasons.

Kane has had loan stints with Preston North End, Blackburn Rovers, Bristol City and Nottingham Forest, as Chelsea look to build up his experience.
