Liverpool starlet Jordon Ibe is eager to contribute more to the Reds’ attacking play, saying that the position he plays demands that he has an end product, regardless of his tender years.

Ibe made 14 league appearances for the Reds last season and contributed a solitary assist to their cause as they finished sixth in the league standings.

In the recently-concluded pre-season friendlies that saw Liverpool play in Thailand, Malaysia, Australia and Finland before they faced Swindon Town on 2nd August, Ibe scored the equalising goal against a Malaysia XI in a 1-1 draw on 24th July.

The youngster wants to play a bigger part in the Reds’ attacking cause in the forthcoming campaign and is keen on scoring goals as well as setting up his team-mates with goalscoring opportunities.

“Hopefully it's going to keep adding up and I'm hoping to add a few more goals to my game”, he was quoted as saying by the Liverpool website.

“I know I'm at a young age, but in my position I need to have an end product.

“If I'm not getting a goal in a game, then I need to be trying to get an assist for one of my teammates or making sure I have a great game.

"They're the three things I am working on to try and do regularly. Hopefully I'll see the benefit from doing that”, he concluded.

Ibe will be eager to find a regular starting spot in the Liverpool first in the 2015/16 season.
