Arsenal starlet Chuba Akpom has joined Championship side Hull City on a season-long loan deal.

The 19-year-old won the hearts of the Arsenal faithful during pre-season and is a highly regarded talent at the club.

However, Arsene Wenger has a plethora of forward options to choose from next season and Akpom was not expected to play regular first team football.

Therefore, the club have decided to loan him out to Championship side Hull City for the season and are expecting him to gain crucial first team experience under the tutelage of Steve Bruce at the KC Stadium.

While it remains to be seen whether Akpom manages to break into the first eleven, he is at least expected to remain regularly involved with the first team squad at Hull.
