Burnley manager Sean Dyche is expecting Leeds United to provide his team with a stern test on Saturday, but insists his men are determined to return to the Premier League.

The Clarets suffered relegation from the top flight last season and are keen to bounce back at the first attempt, with their Championship campaign starting with a visit to Elland Road.

Leeds are under new management in the form of Uwe Rosler and Dyche is sure that will have had an impact, even if he wants his team to focus solely on themselves.

The Burnley manager told a press conference: "Leeds have had a change of manager and way of thinking which may stimulate them, but we're focused on ourselves."

Dyche also stressed Burnley's desire to make sure they quickly return to the Premier League, claiming his side are hungry for another bite of the apple.

"We all want a piece of the Premier League again. I'm thirsty for it and the players are too, but it's going to take hard work.

"It's exciting for all the start of the season as there are open minds and players trying to rubber stamp their place in teams", the Burnley boss added.

The Clarets will be desperate to start their campaign on a strong note by putting Leeds to the sword at Elland Road on Saturday. The Whites are expecting a crowd of over 29,000 for their opening Championship game.
