Aston Villa have snapped up young winger Adama Traore from Barcelona, it has been claimed.

The 19-year-old, more commonly known as Adama, was recently given permission by Barcelona to skip training and head to England to speak to clubs interested in signing him.

He was linked with Aston Villa, along with Liverpool and Stoke City. And now it appears he has made his choice.

According to Spanish daily AS, Adama has signed a three-year contract at Villa Park, with an option for a fourth year, menaing he could remain with Tim Sherwood's men until 2019.

The winger turned out for Barcelona B last season, but was concerned about playing in Spain's third tier in the current campaign given their relegation last term.
