Paris Saint-Germain are ready to step on the accelerator to sign Arsenal linked full-back Faouzi Ghoulam.

With Lucas Digne expected to join Roma this summer, PSG are quickly stepping up on their pursuit for a replacement for the Frenchman and have identified the Napoli full-back as the ideal candidate.




While Arsenal are also interested in the 24-year-old and have reportedly slapped in a bid, PSG are the ones who are doing all the running at the moment to take him to the French capital this summer.

The Parisians have reportedly made initial contact with Napoli and according to Sky Italia, they are ready to up the ante to get the deal over the line soon.
 


However, there exists a considerable distance between what PSG are willing to offer and what Napoli want in order to sanction the Algerian’s sale this summer.

For the moment PSG are only ready to offer €6m for the player, but Napoli are requesting a bid of around €10m for Ghoulam.

The clubs are expected to continue to negotiate in the next few days and PSG are confident that a deal can be struck soon.

Ghoulam has earned 19 international caps for Algeria and still has three years left on his contract with Napoli.
