Manchester United continue to be interested in Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller and would be willing to double his salary at Old Trafford.

Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is a firm fan of Muller and when in charge at Bayern Munich coined the phrase "Muller always plays".

Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge was quoted as saying by Kicker: "Louis van Gaal is very stubborn. But there is no price for Thomas Muller."
