Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has showered praise on Rangers manager Mark Warburton and advised him to soak up the history of the Glasgow giants.
Rodgers worked with Warburton at Watford, with the pair crossing paths when the current Liverpool manager was the boss at Vicarage Road and the current Rangers manager worked in charge of the academy.
The pair are good friends and earlier this summer, following his departure from Brentford, Warburton joined Rodgers in the big-club manager ranks by taking over at Rangers.
"Mark is a really good guy", Rodgers told a press conference, when asked about Warburton.
"I first came across Mark when I was manager at Watford and Mark was the academy director", the Liverpool manager continued.

"He has an excellent knowledge of the game. He obviously worked in different fields and he's got a bigger picture than just football. He's an excellent coach, a very good man-manager and works well with the players."
Rodgers revealed he had been in touch with Warburton last term, when it emerged he would be leaving Brentford after not seeing eye to eye with the club's owner over the direction the Bees should take.
"I spoke to him towards the end of last season. It was a difficult situation for him, but he handled it exceptionally well."
And Rodgers was asked what advice he has for Warburton given he, like the current Rangers boss, stepped up suddenly to take charge of a big club.
"He's obviously gone to Scotland and he'll see that Rangers are a huge club with huge expectations.
"It's important to understand – and I'm sure he will have done – the great history of the club."
