Sevilla have turned down the chance to make a move for Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes.

The experienced shot-stopper has fallen firmly out of favour at Old Trafford, with manager Louis van Gaal declaring the Spaniard to have no future at the club due to refusing to follow his philosophy.

Valdes' agents are working overtime in a bid to find their client a new club for next term and have been proposing the goalkeeper to a number of clubs.

According to Radio Sevilla, cited by Tutto Mercato, Valdes has had his services offered to Sevilla.

However, Sevilla coach Unai Emery has made clear that he does not feel Valdes is needed at the club.

The clock is ticking on the transfer window and Valdes still has a further year remaining on his contract with Manchester United.

However, he is likely to leave to avoid kicking his heels on the sidelines until the new year.
