Liverpool are considering making an offer for Roma linked full-back Sead Kolasinac in the last stretch of the transfer window.

Brendan Rodgers is still believed to be keen to add one more left-back to his squad, but with the transfer window entering its last phase, he is yet to much such an addition.

With long term target Lucas Digne believed to be on his way to Roma, the Reds have ramped up their search for a full-back and are claimed to have their eyes set on Schalke’s Kolasinac.

According to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, the Reds have enquired about the player’s availability and are considering making a move for him in the next few days.

However, Liverpool are not the only English team to be linked with Kolasinac this summer, as Premier League giants Arsenal are also said to be interested in the 22-year-old.

Roma, who are keen to close out a deal for Digne as soon as possible, have also identified Kolasinac as the replacement target should they fail to land the Paris Saint-Germain full-back.

However, with the transfer window winding down rapidly Liverpool will need to make their move quickly as Schalke might not be interested in losing a key player in the dying moments of the transfer period.

Kolasinac has earned five international caps for Bosnia-Herzegovina and still has two years left on his contract with Schalke.
