Ronald Koeman has stressed the Southampton won’t sell any more players this summer, indicating that Manchester United target Sadio Mane is not for sale.

Manchester United have already recruited Morgan Schneiderlin from Southampton this summer and are reportedly interested in the Senegalese forward.

Southampton have admitted Manchester United’s interest in the player, but have insisted that they have not received any bids for Mane from the Red Devils.

And now Koeman has insisted that Southampton won’t be allowing any more of their players to leave the club this summer, despite all the speculation.

"We're not selling any more players", Koeman was quoted as saying by the BBC.

"Write what you want to about the rumours until 1 September, nobody is going to leave Southampton."

The Southampton boss also stressed that they have not received any bid for Mane and insisted that they are not in talks with any club for any of their players at the moment.

"There's no bid for any player. Not for Sadio Mane, not for Victor Wanyama.

"We have to deal with rumours among the press. There's no bid for any player and no contact from any club."

Southampton are yet to win a game this season and are desperate to hold on to their top performers in the last stretch of the transfer window.
