Lazio are still monitoring out-of-favour Liverpool striker and Inter Milan target Fabio Borini this summer, as the race for the Italian's signature heats up.

Borini has been touted to be on his way out of Anfield all summer, but with only a week or so left in the transfer window, his future still remains under the scanner.

A number of Italian clubs have been mooted to be interested in the player, but none of his suitors have so far made any concrete moves to wiggle him out of Liverpool.

While Inter have made informal contact with Liverpool and there is a suggestion that Roberto Mancini also wants him at the San Siro, they are yet to put in a bid for the former Roma man.

Lazio have also been in the mix for the former Giallorossi striker and according to Gazzetta dello Sport, they are still monitoring Borini’s situation at Anfield.
