Juventus are considering making a move for Manchester United and Arsenal linked midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.

The Germany midfielder was heavily linked with a move to England earlier in the summer, with Manchester United and Arsenal believed to be his primary suitors.

However, the trail went cold after he signed a new contract with Borussia Dortmund, but this late into the transfer window, the speculation surrounding his future is refusing to recede.

And according to Turin-based daily Tuttosport, Juventus are plotting to make a move for the Germany midfielder in the last week of the transfer window.

Juventus have been trying to bring in one more midfield maestro for some time now and it has been suggested that they are finally considering the option of signing 24-year-old midfielder.

The Bianconeri are aware they would have to offer big money to Dortmund to convince them into selling an important player such as Gundogan at this stage of the window.

The Bianconeri are expected to meet Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc in the next few days to present an offer for Gundogan.

New BVB coach Thomas Tuchel may be unwilling to lose the midfielder at such a crucial juncture and is expected to fight hard to keep him at the club for this season.
