Barcelona have entered into negotiations with Dynamo Kyiv for the signature of Everton target Andriy Yarmolenko.

With Barcelona barred from registering any new players until January next year, the club were reluctant to spend more money this summer, but Everton’s move for Dynamo Kyiv striker Yarmolenko has prompted the club to re-enter the market.

Everton were claimed to be close to securing a deal for the 25-year-old forward for a fee around €25m, but Barcelona’s interest has prompted Dynamo Kyiv to freeze negotiations with the Toffees.

According to Catalan daily Sport, the Catalan giants are negotiating a deal with the Ukrainians to secure a deal for Yarmolenko this summer.

Barcelona are ready to pay a fee of around €20m in three installments and allow Yarmolenko to stay at Dynamo Kyiv until December provided the club promise to keep him out of the Champions League this season.
