Napoli are considering making a move to sign Moussa Dembele from Tottenham Hotspur before the transfer window closes this summer.
The Azzurri are firm fans of the Belgium international and are thinking about making an effort to convince Tottenham to sell.
Napoli want to continue to strengthen their squad before the transfer window shuts and midfield is an area identified for reinforcements.
As such, according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, Demebele is being considered as a potential signing.
The Belgian however has started all three of Tottenham's Premier League games so far this season and it is far from clear whether Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino would be open to his departure.
