Juventus have raised their offer for Arsenal linked attacking midfielder Julian Draxler, but Schalke are still holding out for more money.

The Bianconeri have been trying to get a deal done for Draxler for over a month, but are yet to reach an agreement with the Bundesliga outfit.

While after calling off all talks with the Italian champions earlier this month, Schalke have come back to the negotiating table, Juventus are still struggling to get the deal over the line.

According to Italian broadcaster Sky Italia, the Italian giants have raised their offer for Draxler and have slapped in a fresh bid of around €23m plus bonuses – but a breakthrough is not imminent.

Schalke have rejected their offer and are still holding out for more money for the 21-year-old Germany international.

The Bundesliga outfit are waiting for an offer of around €30m plus bonuses before they accept to let the player go this summer.

With the transfer window winding down fast, time is running out for Juventus and it remains to be seen whether they decide to adhere to Schalke’s demands or put an end to the negotiations.

Arsenal have also been linked with Draxler on a regular basis over the last 18 months, but they are yet to make any concrete move for him this summer.
