Everton and Barcelona target Andriy Yarmolenko has insisted that he will not leave Dynamo Kyiv this summer.

The 25-year-old forward’s future at Dynamo Kyiv has been a topic of discussion over the last week or so after it emerged that Everton are in talks to take him to England.

While Everton were pushing for a deal, Barcelona also entered the picture and were reportedly ready to offer €20m to Dynamo Kyiv for his signature.

Yarmolenko failed to acknowledge Barcelona’s interest, but admits that the Toffees were keen to take him to Merseyside this summer.

However, he insisted that he is not going to leave the club in the current transfer window and revealed that he wants to honour his contract with Dynamo Kyiv.

"Interest from Everton was real”, the forward told the club’s official website.

“But in this transfer window I won't go anywhere, there are just a few days before its closure.

“I have another year of contract with Dynamo, and I will faithfully fulfil it."

Yarmolenko joined Dynamo Kyiv’s ranks in 2007 and over the years has established himself as one of the most crucial members of their squad.

He has started the season well and has already netted six goals in seven appearances for the club early in their campaign.

The forward has also earned 49 caps for Ukraine and has 19 international goals to his name.
