Leeds United are not prepared to sell Giuseppe Bellusci, something the Italian defender is aware of, it has been claimed.

Bellusci has attracted interest from two Serie A clubs in the form of Atalanta and Bologna, who have both been eyeing taking him back to Italy before the transfer window closes.

It has been reported Bellusci would be open to joining either side, but Leeds are not keen on playing ball.

And according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the Whites have made it clear to Bellusci that they are not looking to sell him, which means the player's agent believes his client will be staying put at Elland Road.

Bellusci is a controversial figure amongst Leeds fans after a series of blasts at the club's faithful on social media.

The Italian defender was also part of a group of players who suddenly withdrew from a matchday squad last season at the last minute, despite then head coach Neil Redfearn having no idea they were injured.

But Leeds fans hoping for Bellusci to leave Elland Road may be disappointed as the Whites look determined to keep hold of him beyond this summer.
