Lazio are expected to make a final attempt to sign out-of-favour Arsenal forward Joel Campbell in the final few days of the widow.

Arsene Wenger has said that he wants to keep the Costa Rican international at the club, but the player is believed to be looking for a way out this summer.

Palermo had previously tried to agree a deal with the Gunners for Campbell, but Arsenal’s steep financial demands forced the club to back off.

Lazio also enquired about the player’s availability last week and are said to be keen to sign him on a loan deal from Arsenal this summer.

With the transfer window winding down rapidly, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Lazio are expected to make a concrete move for him in the last few days.
