Brendan Rodgers claims transfer deadline day will be quiet for Liverpool as they did their business earlier this summer.

As deadline day approaches, Liverpool continue to be linked with players, while several are on the way out of Anfield after Rodgers declared them surplus to requirements.

For Rodgers, fans should expect little in the way of incomings as the Reds did their business earlier this summer, adding a whole host of new faces.

Asked in a press conference about whether he is expecting a hectic transfer deadline day, Rodgers replied: "You won't need to be set up around here. You can go elsewhere.

"We had a lot of our signings early in the season, so I'm sure we'll be quiet", he added.
