Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has chosen to keep his counsel on Victor Valdes’ proposed move to Besiktas.

After a falling out with the Spaniard, the Dutchman has made the goalkeeper available on the market and there is speculation that he is on his way to join Besiktas.

The Turkish giants have reportedly reached an agreement with Manchester United for the former Barcelona man and Valdes is expected to fly across to Turkey soon to complete the switch.

However, in the pre-match press conference ahead of their game against Swansea City on Sunday, the Manchester United boss decided to remain silent on the Spaniard’s future.

When asked about Valdes’ future, the Manchester United manager said: “When we have to say anything, we will.”
