Rangers manager Mark Warburton is not prepared to rule out making further signings before the transfer window slams shut next week, even though he is happy with the squad he has currently.

The former Brentford boss has already drafted a number of new faces into Ibrox, the latest being young midfielder Gedion Zelalem, who has linked up from Arsenal on loan.

Warburton is happy with the squad he has assembled, but is not willing to rule out making further signings if irresistible opportunities present themselves before the window slams shut.

And the Englishman has praised the support he has received from Rangers' board, being sure if a player comes up that he wants he will be backed.

"If a player became available who we thought represented value financially and in terms of football, we would move", Warburton said at a press conference.

"And the support from the board and the owner have been first class.

"But right now we're not far away. We've had players go out, we've had players come in", he added.

Warburton's new look Rangers squad have won all seven of the competitive games they have played so far this season.

They are next in action against Queen of the South.
