Tottenham Hotspur new boy Heung-Min Son has expressed his excitement about playing at White Hart Lane, while also speaking about his desire to pit his wits against "a lot of good players" in the Premier League.

The north London-based side's interest in the South Korean forward was confirmed earlier in the week and with the club having failed with their attempt to lure Saido Berahino from West Brom, the deal for Son picked up pace and the Lilywhites eventually thrashed out a fee in the region of €30m, which was accepted by Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.

The 23-year-old has put pen to paper to a five-year deal and will remain at White Hart Lane until June 2020.

Speaking about his feeling about joining a side in the Premier League, Son revealed that he is happy and proud at the same time to have managed to make his dream of playing in the English top flight successful.

And now the forward insists it is key for him to continue with his hard work so that he can perform at the level expected by his new club.
