Out-of-favour Liverpool striker Fabio Borini is expecting an answer from Inter Milan this morning about a proposed move to the San Siro.

The Nerazzurri have shown an interest in the former Roma forward, but are yet to place any concrete offer on Liverpool’s table.

With the transfer window winding down rapidly, Borini wants a quick solution for his future, but has been frustrated by Inter’s dilly-dallying in the negotiations.

According to Italian broadcaster Sky Italia, the Italian striker is expecting Inter to provide him a final answer on whether they want him to move to the San Siro this summer.

Though Inter are interested in the player, they are also pursuing other targets and are expected to make a decision on the forward today.

While moving back to Italy is the preferred option for the Liverpool striker, he has offers from Premier League clubs and if Inter look the other way, he would consider staying in England.

Sunderland, where he spent time on loan, have shown an interest in him and Watford are still keen to get a deal over the line for Borini; Borini though is claimed to favour Sunderland over Watford if push comes to shove.

The 24-year-old is surplus to requirements at Liverpool and the club are desperate to offload him ahead of next Tuesday’s transfer deadline day.
