Leeds United boss Uwe Rosler is delighted with his side's 2-1 win away at Derby County today and says he loves taking on the Rams at the iPro Stadium.

Rosler's men were rampant in the opening 45 minutes of the Championship clash, but only had one goal to show for their efforts, which came towards the end of the half.

A corner was played short, which was them swung into the Derby box and midfielder Tom Adeyemi powered a header into the back of the net.

Derby came out all guns blazing at the start of the second half, scoring through Chris Martin, a neat individual effort, and then putting the Whites on the rack.

But Leeds held on and in the 89th minute, just as the match looked to be heading for a draw, Chris Wood controlled the ball and made space just outside the Derby penalty area, then cracking a shot which flew into the back of the net off the post.

Leeds had claimed their first win of the season and Rosler was delighted, saying on Sky Sports after the match: "It's a lucky ground for me, the third [win] in a row.

"I like to come here. It's a great atmosphere. They play a certain way which suits my teams.

"We orientated the way we played. We replicated exactly the same way I played with Wigan.

"I think we weathered the storm. They died out a little bit and both teams tried to win the game and went for the kill.

"In a period of five to ten minutes we did some crazy stuff, both full backs up, but we got the reward for keeping our mentality."

And Rosler believes with four draws and one win, Leeds now have a good start to the new Championship campaign under their belt.

"I always felt we had a good opening of the season. We had a very hard pre-season and the team have been improving all the time."
