Juventus and Schalke are discussing payment methods as Julian Draxler’s move to Turin draws closer.

While the clubs are yet to reach a definitive agreement over a fee, the Italian champions are confident that a deal can be agreed before Monday.

Schalke are demanding a fee of around €27m plus €5m in bonus payments, but Juventus’ current offer stands at €25m plus €7m in add-ons.

According to Sky Italia, the clubs are currently negotiating the payment method which could see Draxler wear the Bianconeri shirt this season.

Negotiators from both clubs have been engaged in talks for days and it has been suggested that a deal could soon be agreed which will see the Germany international move to Italy.

The deal seemed dead in the water when Schalke pulled out of negotiations and asked the player’s agent to stop all talks with Juventus earlier in the summer.

However, Juventus’ relentless pursuit of Draxler seems to be paying off as the club are now confident that they will soon reach an agreement with the Bundesliga side.

Draxler is also a long term target for Arsenal, but Arsene Wenger has shown little interest in trying to compete with Juventus for his signature this summer.
