Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic has arrived in Istanbul to complete his loan switch to Fenerbahce.

The Yellow Canaries have ironed out a loan deal with Liverpool for the Serbian winger, who will now spend the season plying his trade in Turkey.

Markovic has now landed in Turkey, where he will undergo his medical and then put the finishing touches to his switch.

The player took to Twitter to post a photograph of himself having arrived and wearing a Fenerbahce scarf.

Liverpool paid £20m to sign Markovic from Portuguese giants Benfica last summer, but he struggled for regular first team football at Anfield.

Nevertheless, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has insisted that Markovic continues to have a future at the club and the Reds will be looking for him to play on a regular basis with Fenerbahce.

In Markovic's absence, Liverpool went down to a 3-0 home defeat to Slaven Bilic's West Ham United.
