Bayern Munich defender Dante is set to join Wolfsburg, the Bundesliga champions have announced.

Pep Guardiola is willing to allow the centre-back to move on and he is poised to be playing his football at the Volkswagen Arena this season.




The 31-year-old joined Bayern Munich from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2012 and has enjoyed a successful spell at the Allianz Arena.

During his time with the Bavarians, Dante has won three Bundesliga titles, two German Cups and notably the Champions League in 2013.
 

 

However, the Brazilian is now heading to Wolfsburg, where he will be aiming to play week in, week out.

In total the 31-year-old defender has made 133 appearances in all competitions for Bayern Munich, chipping in with five goals and eight assists.

The Brazilian, who has won 14 caps for Brazil at international level since making his senior bow in 2013, is under contract with Bayern Munich until the summer of 2017.
