In a sign Jordan Botaka is all but a Leeds United player, Excelsior are already moving to secure his replacement.

Excelsior have accepted an offer from Leeds for Botaka, who announced yesterday that he is to fly to England today to open talks with the Whites.

And the Rotterdam-based side believe the winger is as good as gone, as they have already moved to bring in his replacement.

According to Dutch daily AD/Sportwereld, Excelsior want to sign Stanley Elbers to replace Botaka.

The 23-year-old is a product of ADO Den Haag's youth set-up, but currently plays for Helmond Sport in the Dutch second tier.

Capped by the Netherlands at Under-21 level, Elbers has shone in the second tier in the Netherlands and scored 13 goals for Helmond Sport last term.

He has a contract running until 2017 with the club, meaning Excelsior will have to dip into funds received by Leeds to secure his signature.
