Bayern Munich have officially confirmed the loan signing of French forward Kingsley Coman from Juventus.

The 19-year-old, who has been linked with Arsene Wenger's Arsenal and several other clubs, has landed at the Allianz Arena on a two-year loan deal.

The Bavarians are paying €7m to sign Coman on loan, while they also have the right to make the Frenchman's move permanent for a further payment of €21m.

Coman joined Juventus last summer on a five-year contract after the expiry of his deal at French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

He featured only sporadically for the Bianconeri though and following the summer arrivals of Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic, has been allowed to leave.

Bayern Munich were advised to sign Coman earlier this summer by Arturo Vidal, who also swapped Juventus for the Bavarians.

The Chile international midfielder said: "Kingsley is not only young, but is also very strong and above all a quick player.

"He still has a lot of development left in him and if he follows me to Bayern, then he would be a great support for the team", Vidal added.

Coman, who is a France Under-21 international, has taken the number 29 shirt at Bayern Munich and will be aiming to make an impact with the Bundesliga champions this season.
