Bournemouth are due to meet Jonathan de Guzman's representatives tomorrow as they bid to put the final pieces in place for a move for the midfielder.

The Cherries have reached an agreement with De Guzman's current club Napoli and are now putting their foot on the accelerator to push the switch over the line ahead of the transfer deadline.

De Guzman was being chased by Sunderland, who also reached an agreement with Napoli, but the midfielder after much reflection rejected the Black Cats.

According to Italian broadcaster Sky Italia, De Guzman has now knocked back proposals from Stuttgart and Hamburg, and his agents are due to meet Bournemouth tomorrow.

The remaining details of their client's move to England will be discussed and it appears De Guzman is set to join the Cherries before the window closes.
