Borussia Dortmund are set to sign Adnan Januzaj on loan from Manchester United for the season, according to local German daily the Ruhr Nachrichten.

The Ruhr giants believe Januzaj fits the bill in terms of the left-footed winger they have been searching for and are racing to complete the deal before the transfer window closes in Germany.

There is not thought to be a purchase option included in the loan deal, with Manchester United continuing to rate the Belgium international highly.

Januzaj has been linked with leaving Old Trafford on loan throughout the summer, but after scoring against Aston Villa earlier this month, dubbed such speculation "rumours".

But the winger is set to move away from Louis van Gaal's men on loan as he aims to feature on a regular basis.
