Ezequiel Schelotto has turned down a proposal to swap Inter for Swiss Super League side Sion, but may still be on the move, to Nottingham Forest.

Inter are trying to offload the 26-year-old midfielder, but have so far met with no success. Schelotto has just rejected the chance to sign for Sion, not finding a move to Switzerland an attractive proposition.

According to Italian outlet FC Inter News, the Nerazzurri are now considering terminating the midfielder's contract, however there is also interest in the player from Nottingham Forest.

The English side have an extra day to conduct their transfer business and could move to sign Schelotto tomorrow.
