Serie B side Como have completed the permanent signing of midfielder Zan Benedicic.

The Slovenian schemer spent last term on loan at Leeds in England, but saw injury troubles derail his efforts to make an impact at Elland Road.

He has now departed AC Milan on a permanent basis to drop into the Italian second tier with Como.

Benedicic will be aiming to get his career back on track with Como, having been tipped for big things at AC Milan.

Indeed, the midfielder was part of the AC Milan side which won the prestigious Viareggio Tournament in 2014. However, he has since failed to kick on.
