Arsenal are unlikely to take part in any transfer business on the last day of the summer transfer window.

After an encouraging finish to last season, Arsenal fans were confident about a title charge this term and the capture of Petr Cech from Chelsea provided genuine optimism to the Gunners faithful.

According to the BBC, Arsene Wenger is unlikely to sign any new players today to bolster Arsenal’s squad, despite a clamour from fans.
