Celtic are closing in on signing Ryan Christie from Inverness with the midfielder only needing to pass a medical to seal the deal.

The Bhoys were given permission by Inverness to hold talks with the Scotland Under-21 midfielder yesterday and are now speeding ahead with the swoop.

According to BBC Scotland, a deal for Christie is agreed and the midfielder will sign a four-year contract with Ronny Deila's men.

Christie must just pass a medical with the Bhoys for the deal to come into effect.
