Liverpool are trying to complete a last-minute deal for Dynamo Kyiv forward Andriy Yarmolenko, it has been claimed.

The Reds have been expected to be quiet on transfer deadline day, but they are reportedly launching an under the radar move to take the 25-year-old to Anfield.

Yarmolenko has been linked with both Barcelona and Everton this summer, but recently explained he would stay put at Dynamo Kyiv to see out his contract.

But according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Liverpool are working to try to take the Ukraine international to Anfield before the transfer window closes.

Whether Dynamo Kyiv would be willing to part with Yarmolenko today remains to be seen, but their resolve is set to be tested.

Should Dynamo Kyiv agree to sell Yarmolenko to Liverpool however, they would be able to move for a replacement as the Ukrainian transfer window remains open for the rest of the day.

Nevertheless, replacing the forward at such a late stage may prove to be impossible for Dynamo Kyiv, something which hints at any Liverpool bid to sign Yarmolenko being tough to pull off.
