Scottish champions Celtic have confirmed the signing of midfielder Ryan Christie from fellow Premiership side Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The 20-year-old has put pen to paper to a four-year contract at Celtic Park, a deal that is meant to keep him at the club until June 2019.
Christie though will return to Inverness immediately on a season-long loan deal, but has an option inserted in the deal that could trigger a move back to Paradise in January.
The highly rated youngster has already managed a total of 66 appearances for Inverness, scoring nine goals and has also provided his team-mates with four equally important assists.
Celtic boss Ronny Deila heaped praise on his latest acquisition, insisting that the midfielder has been brought in keeping in mind the long-term future of the club.

The deal is also expected to bring in a lot of excitement among the Celtic faithful, Deila feels.
“Ryan is a hugely talented young player and it is great news that we have secured his long-term future with Celtic", the manager told his club's official website.
“He is someone who has so much in his game and he is a young player who will excite our fans and ultimately be an important part of our future success.”
