Chelsea youngster Izzy Brown has put pen to paper to a new four-year contract at Stamford Bridge, extending his stay at the club until June 2019.

The 18-year-old is currently in the middle of a loan spell at Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem, where he will be staying until the end of the 2015/16 season.




The versatile forward came through West Bromwich Albion's youth academy having been promoted to senior level in 2013.

He was snapped up the Pensioners the same year making his senior debut for his new club against his former side last May.

Brown also led Chelsea's Under-19 side to UEFA Youth League glory last season, contributing with a double during the final against Shakhtar Donetsk.

The starlet was also part of the Under-18 side that the lifted the FA Youth Cup last season.

As far as his international career is concerned, the youngster has moved through England's Under-16 and Under-17 levels to have finally made it to Aidy Boothroyd's Under-19 side last year.

Having joined Vitesse in July this year the youngster has so far managed a total of six appearances for the Eredivisie side but hasn't been able to find the back of the net yet.
