Juventus have completed a deal to sign French Under-21 midfielder Mario Lemina from Marseille.

The 22-year-old has joined the club on an initial loan deal and Juventus have the option to make the move permanent before April next year for a fee of around €9.5m.




As part of the agreement Juventus have allowed Mauricio Isla to move to Marseille on loan and they also have the right to make the move permanent next summer for a fee of around €7m.

Lemina completed a medical with the Italian champions yesterday and has signed the loan contract with the club.

He was part of the France team along with new Juventus team-mate Paul Pogba that won the Under-20 World Cup in 2013.

Lemina was a key performer for Marseille over the last two seasons and made 50 appearances for the club.

Schooled at Lorient’s youth academy, Marseille snapped up the talented youngster in 2013 and he went on to become one of the most crucial members of the squad at the Stade Velodrome.

Juventus will be hoping that Lemina plays a key role in helping them to continue to dominate Serie A this season too.
