Manchester City have sent Jason Denayer on a season-long loan to Galatasaray, while Jose Angel Pozo has made a permanent move to Almeria.

Denayer enjoyed a successful campaign on loan at Celtic last season and his performances saw him win the league’s Young Player of the Year award as well as the Hoops’ Young Player of the Year awards.




The Citizens have acquired Nicolas Otamendi from Valencia and already have Vincent Kompany, Eliaquim Mangala and Martin Demichelis in their ranks, meaning Denayer was not assured of regular first team appearances.

In the prevailing circumstances he has been sent on a season-long loan to the Turk Telekom Arena outfit to in order to gain more first team experience.
