Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp believes that his old club will snap up Saido Berahino from West Brom before the transfer window slams shut today.

Spurs have had multiple offers knocked back by West Brom for Berahino so far this summer and the Baggies have continued to insist that the striker is not for sale.

But Redknapp, who believes that Spurs are desperate for another striker, has tipped the White Hart Lane outfit to snap Berahino up before the transfer window slams shut.

Redknapp said via Kicca: "I still think the boy from West Bromwich Albion will probably go there.

"I think Tony [Pulis] would want to sell him, that's my honest opinion; I know he'd deny that", Redknapp continued, before musing about where Pulis might play Berahino if he does stay.

"I like the look of the centre forward West Brom have signed, he looks good. He's got [Rickie] Lambert there. What are they going to do with Berahino? Stick him out on the wing? Tony plays one up front, so I'm sure they would like to get £20m for him."

The clock is now ticking on the transfer window and time is running out for Spurs to reach an agreement with West Brom for Berahino.

Spurs have let Roberto Soldado leave White Hart Lane this summer, though they have brought in Heung-Min Son from Bayer Leverkusen. It has also been speculated that Emmanuel Adebayor could be set to leave the club with Aston Villa and West Ham linked.
